Hours Between began as a collection of short voice notes: a beat sketched after a journey, a line written before sleep, a rhythm tapped out while waiting for the kettle. The six finished tracks keep that everyday scale, following the distance between people and the small ways they find each other again.
Recorded with Maya Ellis on synth bass and Theo Vale on drum machines, the EP leaves space around the groove. Some arrangements stay close to the original sketch; others open into a fuller band sound. “Leave a Light” closes the record with the simplest invitation on it: stay a little longer.
